Death Trap (18:07:08) :

Hey very cool to see the DEATH TRAP “No Hicks” 7inc on 3 Top 10 list, thank you!! Also saw the very cool review, it is truly appreciated. Max R&R was a big influence on us small town punks in the early 80’s!

We love Punks! Punks! Punks! zine here! The newest one is pretty next level too, everyone that comes over reads it-the punk points system is hilarious and brutal

I really do need to track down the Punks! Punks! Punks! zine. Sounds like an entertaining read. @barker: The only meatdog I know of is the singer for Reckless Aggression.

Also, a lot of awesome releases in everyone’s top ten. Especially The Soupcans’ 12″. Dig all y’all at MRR. Keep up the fantastic work! :)

I don’t get why you’re so into Punks Punks Punks…
I read this zine and I found it not that good.
Meatdog is the cool guy behind Soapbox and Groin Gravy – both amazing fanzines – and also the singer of Reckless Aggression (skinhead hardcore from Melbourne, Australia). They could have done a real great interview with him but questions were just lame, not even funny, just lame man. The same for the Total Abuse’s one (a lot of questions come into my mind: “why your band is so gay?” “how was it to play in such a good movie like cabin fever 2” “why are you writing oppressive and depressive songs if you’re not like that in real life?” “why did you play in a good band like the Snobs and then played in a pussy band like Toru Okada” etc haha).
The interview with Ian Mackaye was ok though.
I’m not trying to put them down or something, but maybe people behind MRR were like friends with the guys of P!P!P! that’s why they appeared on this top ten (?)
Anyway, find good questions to ask for the next issue cause they sucked, really haha
Cheers

I think it’s great Punks! Punks! Punks! posts their out of print issues to check out for the new, curious or for the late unluckys who missed an issue. It’s not for everybody and is subjective to taste. I think it’s fun, myself. Sorry you didn’t dig it, Ralph. Maybe the next issue.

P.S. Here’s a like to their site : http://punkspunkspunks.com/HOME.htm
