With head nods to DEVO, 8-bit sounds, and new wave, these Hamburg androids have created an album that keeps me bopping. Futuristic themes merge with retro sounds to create an album that has descended from another dimension of space and time. “Rate Me Rate Me” is incredibly danceable while exploring contemporary society’s fascination with clout, while “Dancefloor Queen” features a tight guitar solo and catchy hook.
