Spy Two Things at Once CD
Two doses of SPY for the price of one, Two Things at Once includes both of SPY’s first and arguably strongest releases, Service Weapon and Habitual Offender. For those who don’t know, SPY formed in 2020 and they play pretty straightforward and nasty hardcore, in line with bands like GAG, GULCH, BIB, etc. I love their earlier sound; the dirty, punky, mid-tempo churn of these songs really packs a punch that their debut LP didn’t fully deliver on. I’m no hater, but this material scratches an itch the later stuff doesn’t.
