Sludgy punk thrash and trash tunes that hit all the buttons. Apparently, these folks had been making these plops of punk joy since the late ’80s, through tragedy, a reformation, and a handful of changes, to this final 2026 release. Some choruses are shouted, some aren’t shouted, but you can sing to everything. Song topics ranging from monsters to just about everything else. The one thing that is clear is that these folks are probs great friends and had a real hoot putting this together. A Congress of Baboons has something for almost everyone, from standard sludgy punk rock, pogoing ability, humor, fist-in-the-air-style songs, KBD attitude, a Mystic Records quality, some slap bass, and a couple other things, too.
