Censer Censer demo cassette
This is ferocious, this is from Cleveland, and this is hard-as-nails powerviolence. Released on the prolific hardcore label Delayed Gratification, this is the first demo tape from CENSER, who are certainly not here to spread joy and happiness to the punters. I am sure the members of the band are experienced and have been doing the same thing for some years, as the music is perfectly executed and excellently ticks all the powerviolence boxes you’d expect of a top band, from the heavy moshing moments to the blasting madness. I am not the biggest fan (or indeed connoisseur) of the genre and I wouldn’t personally pick up the tape, but this is brilliantly done and I can imagine the fans of this peculiar subgenre that has survived a couple of decades now going crazy for CENSER.
