CHERRY DROP probably always smells like last night’s show regardless of whether they had a show last night or not, but that’s OK, it’s what makes you tune in to this lawless Michigan rock. If this were to come from anywhere else, you’d question the authenticity, but goddamn if this doesn’t just reek of the Mitten State. Evil With Imperfections is relentless, and just when you think you’re going to get a chance to catch your breath, you get another punch to the chest. I betcha they play a lot of places that still allow people to smoke cigarettes inside. I’m mean, they just sound like a fire hazard, and I mean that in the best possible way.
