Genre is Death Attractive People LP

No wave squall that punctures both eardrums and listener comfort as strongly as the good old bad days of ’70s New York avant garde. Pulsing bass, sheets of atonal guitar feedback, and GLENN BRANCA-esque, high-volume drone are grounded by the march of a dispassionate drum machine. The duo of Ty and Tayler call and respond in hollers and sarcastic sing-song chants that recall the best of TEENAGE JESUS AND THE JERKS (the band has a friendly relationship with LYDIA LUNCH, which seems like a feat in itself) and MARS. If you like the “screwdriver jammed in the fretboard” sound of urban collapse, this is for you.
