Give Over Done In EP
The sudden tempo changes, metalcore riffs, and desperate screams call to mind bands like EVERYTIME I DIE or KNOCKED LOOSE. I’m not here to judge, so I will let you decide if that’s a good or bad thing. The production is slick and the band rips; the drummer is a goddamn maniac, but there is nothing really memorable about the songs and it left me asking “where’s the punk?” It’s aggressive and as fast they come, and the way they shift from tempo to tempo at the drop of a hat is impressive. But in the end, there is no escaping the metalcore breakdowns or death metal growls. It’s not for me, but If you’re a fan of that stuff, I think it would be worth checking out.
