SOUNDS FAMILIAR does, in fact, sound familiar. This has all the elements of best friends who were most certainly in basements watching bands in the early ’90s. These four songs take on the sort of self-aware quality that came from that era. If you are into the PROMISE RING, FACE TO FACE, SILENT MAJORITY, SERPICO, etc., then you will absolutely love the transportive effect this will have on you.
