Spiritual Law Spiritual Law LP

Bavarian hardcore that goes straight for the jugular. SPIRITUAL LAW locks into the late ’80s crossover blueprint and turns it into a claustrophobic D-beat hardcore attack, with the stompier side of newer bands like IMPALERS and HALSHUG shining through, and the rapid-fire violence of some of the NWOBHC bands lurking in the riffs. Their sound is hard to pinpoint as there is so much on the table: hardcore, thrash, and some more hardcore. The dynamics are constantly shifting, and they show a wide range of tricks. “Pressure Stomp,” “Man With a Mission,” and the closer “The Cleansing” hit like concrete through a windshield. The artwork by Nathan Ward looks as vicious as the record sounds. This is hardcore for people who want their punk dangerously unpredictable.
