Killer PNW shit with shades of heavy alt/grunge and ’90s melodic punk. Every song feels like a dead simple earworm that will make other musicians wonder “why didn’t I think of those two chords?!”, while regular listers will be drawn in by super-fuzzed guitars and a rhythm section that lands somewhere between KARP and WIPERS fronted by gruff, melodic, and poetic vocals. Looking for modern comparisons? The BURROW hit me like the first time(s) I heard CRIMINAL DAMAGE and SMOKERS, which is high praise from this lowly reviewer. There’s a just world where this shit is absolutely huge, the songs and the delivery are that good…I just don’t think this world is ready.
